CODA CLASS #2 “Magical Music Making” on Wednesday and Thursday (optional) 4:15 – 5:15
SATURDAY CONCERT, JULY 11:
ARRIVE: 9:00 arrival
CONCERT TIME: 11:00 – approximately 12:15.
CONCERT LOCATION: MCAC (Morris Cultural Arts Center) in the Dunham Theater. Open to the public with free admission.
Punch and cookie reception 12:15 – 1:00.
CODA CLASSES are optional with an additional fee of $45 each. These classes are scheduled after hours bringing special topics of interest to the students. It is recommended for students staying on campus and for any student interested in learning more. Multi-level. Lever harp and pedal harp.
CODA Class #1 (optional) – “South of the Border”
South American/Latin rhythms have a unique quality. Students will learn two short pieces that incorporate these rhythms.
Monday and Tuesday 4:15 – 5:15 pm
CODA Class #2 (optional) – “Magical Music Making”
Improvisation techniques will assist students as they use their imaginations to tell a story through music.
Wednesday and Thursday 4:15 – 5:15 pm
